Tess was by far the smallest in her litter. All of her sisters were being adopted but there was Tess, all 10 ounces of her, hiding under a chair. It was love at first site. Although she's still a bit timid and slightly afraid of everything and everyone, she's the most loving, lovable, empathic little sweetheart you'll ever meet. She has to be in constant physical contact with me 24 hrs a day and "talks" nonstop (those with any Bernese in your dogs know what I'm talking about). We could all learn a lot about compassion from tiny Tess. AND she'd look great on a beer can!
