Rex was a rescue. Knowing none of the details, I couldn’t resist donating to a fund for this adorable dog. He’d been hit by a car and picked up by animal care and control and was scheduled to be euthanized unless $5,000 was raised to fund two necessary surgeries needed to save his life.

I found out later he was up for adoption, and I new I was meant to adopt him!
