The Charleston SPCA rescued me from a deserted road on Wadmalaw known as a dumping ground for unwanted pets. After several fearful days with my new family, I realized that I enjoyed being spoilt, respected and loved beyond measure. A recent X-ray told my family what I could not, that I had been shot and that a bullet was still lodged in my leg. It had healed over by the time I was adopted and it only bothers me when someone picks me up funny. Despite this, I still love people and my mom says I am the most affectionate dog she has ever known and that I epitomize the absolute joy of owning a rescue, whatever that is!
