Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Alex from FCDS in July of 2018. Several months prior, a CPD officer found Alex while out on patrol and brought him to the shelter. At the time, Alex was emaciated, stricken with parasites and fly strike however despite his condition he still looked for human touch and attention. Friends of the Shelter stepped in and funded the care needed for his recovery. This photo was taken a few weeks after we adopted him and was taken by a photographer at a fundraising event in Westerville for another rescue. Despite Alex’s teeth being ground down from life, he has a great smile and we have several great pictures of him with this same huge smile. It was hard to choose which one to submit!
