Happy Sweet Potato (formerly Mimsie) was rescued by RO right before the great polar vortex of 2019. She was being housed in an outdoor kennel due to lack of space in her Pike County shelter; so, RO swooped in, brought her up here, and the magnificent Allie W. & family nursed her through Parvo & back to health. Happy joined our family in Feb 2019 and has quickly become a beloved member. She is so sweet & gentle with our young kids, and can always be found trotting after them, happily trying to play with them. She is cautious yet friendly with those she doesn’t know, is loyal and protective, and has adapted to life here in our home so well. She is an absolutely precious little dog and we feel so fortunate that she is ours and we are hers.
