Tita was 9 years old when she was rescued from a hoarding environment with around 8 other Chihuahuas. She came to RESCUEDOhio a very nervous, timid, and reactive dog. When we at the Brody's Story Rescue House first saw a picture of her from our mentor and fellow foster, we knew we wanted to find her the perfect home.

She looked strikingly similar to the black Chihuahua that started us in the rescue, and who gave us our name. Brody was our first foster, we had him for just two months and had plans to adopt when he got diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer. Just a few days after his gotcha day we lost him.

The first day, after hours of gentle coaxing, Tita began to open up, and we quickly realized she was already home. She is now 11 years old, and just as sassy and spicy as always.
