A little about me...
The day I got Maya as a foster through the Rescue Network, was the day she was going to be euthanized at an overcrowded shelter. As it turns out, that day was also her first birthday. After fostering her for over a month... watching her blossom into a goofy, sweet, fun-loving pup.... I decided I couldn't let her go. So, on September 11, I adopted her. She loves to run and play with her dog brother Koda. She proudly prances around carrying her teddy bear, and she loves snuggles. To me, Maya's story epitomizes what rescues are all about, and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
