A little about me...
The Rescue Network received Ruby from an overcrowded animal shelter when she was 8 weeks old, along with her 7 littermates in April 2024. It was a close call for Ruby and her littermates as the Rescue Network was desperately trying to find fosters for them. Fortunately, they found fosters at the last minute. Ruby had a great foster family and we adopted her in May. Our 8-year old daughter’s heart ached for a German Shepherd type puppy after our 16.5 year old dog passed away. Since adopting Ruby, the two are inseparable however, our 11-year old son and we (the parents) love her too! Ruby is now living her best life. We love to spoil her and she brings so much joy to our family. Her facial expressions are the best and we laugh at her every day. She enjoys outdoor excursions with her family, meeting new people, pup cups, elk antlers, tennis balls, playing tug, her Mom’s homemade treats, riding in the car with the windows down, playing in water, getting brushed, socks, shoes and whatever she can find to make the kids chase her!
