Good ol' Gus. He's an odd fellow. His jaw is cocked, he licks air for no apparent reason. He came to us through rescue, his original owner as we were told tried to train him to fight. His jaw is offset, he's one eye that's bloodshot, He's been with us 4 years now and he's a joy. He's still quirky to be sure, but he's adjusted well. This picture is his first boat ride. He adores lap time. Each night right about 7:15, he begins shaking his rear, laying low and demanding to join his Papa in the Lazyboy. He lays flat on his back in Papa's lap with his head hanging over the side, exposing his belly. Rub it and the boy is asleep. We call it Gus nap time. Lasts until Papa's arm falls asleep. He's then content to move to Mama's lap. That's called sloppy seconds : ) Our world wouldn't be the same without him.
