Meet Porter. He is our sweet ekkie. Porter came from a small rescue in Illinois: Happe Parrots Rescue. He is our permanent foster baby. Although at around 12 years of age, he is not such a baby anymore. Porter unfortunately has the Avian Borna Virus and he's a picker. He may be sick, but that doesn't stop this little guy from living! He loves to eat, sing, talk, shower, chew, sharpen his beak, sleep, and mostly he loves to squawk! FLOCK CALL!! We are so proud of Porter! He is so very loved and such a joy! He is a part of our family. Porter is a blessing to us and he has really taught us many things. Trust, love, responsibility, and hope to name a few. Isn't he cute?! Even if you don't think so, we do!
