Your Pet's Story or Bio
We met this most perfect being at RPC about a month after we lost our previous angel cat, Little Miss Meow Meow Kitty Paws. We were just about to leave the shelter after looking around when we told the volunteer we were really hoping to find a long haired girl kitty. She said there were three siblings that weren't quite ready to be adopted but we could take a look. She was the only one of the three that didn't hiss or scratch us. We came back to see her often until we could take her home. She was about 8 weeks old then. When she was 11 months old, she was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Her prognosis was poor with the average life span being 18 months. We were devastated, but loved her even more knowing that her time with us would likely be cut short. That most beautiful girl lived until she was 6 1/2 years old and never seemed sick a day in her life. She was so happy and so fun, and loved beyond measure. We miss her and will love her always.
