A little about me...
When she was a small puppy, Eleanor was found by a good samaritan in a small town in Texas. All her siblings had been hit by a train, so she was taken into the shelter and eventually up north all alone. She’s brought more joy to our lives than we could ever imagine in the last 4 years! We’ve watched her go from a puppy scared of plants and grocery bags to a brave, confident dog always ready to try new things. Because of her, we’ve become active advocates and volunteers in rescue and have enjoyed learning about the breeds that came up in her DNA test. She certainly shows aspects of both pit bull and Great Pyrenees—she’s a big snuggler, but appreciates her alone time too (who doesn’t?)! In her free time, Eleanor enjoys watching birds, going for pup cups, and watching “Pit Bulls and Parolees.”
