A little about me...
Goose was rescued from a puppy mill at 10 weeks of age. They said “he walked funny” so they couldn’t sell him. Goose was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and required surgery not to be in pain. Unfortunately during recovery his surgical site became infected and Goose became very sick. He was hospitalized where they had to open the wound, remove dead tissue, and leave the wound open to heal with daily bandage changes for a few weeks. This was all before he was 4 months old. Goose still bares the physical scars of this traumatic start to life. Once his wound healed, he spent many hours doing physical therapy to regain muscle and strength in his “bad leg”. He doesn’t let it slow him down. He is a bit of a nervous boy, but also fully lives up to being a “silly Goose” and goofy Boxer boy at that.
