A little about me...
I rescued Gus from an overcrowded, high-kill shelter in San Antonio, Texas. He had been brought in as a stray and was scheduled for euthanasia within just five days due to lack of space. A shelter volunteer shared his story on TikTok, and I couldn’t imagine letting that be the end of his journey. I applied to adopt him through a rescue group, and they tagged him for adoption. He spent two weeks with a foster in Austin before being transported to me.

Gus is a happy-go-lucky pup with the sweetest disposition. What makes me smile most is how serious he looks—even though he’s a total goofball at heart. He’s my superhero because he reminds me every day that a second chance can change everything.
