Macho was rescued on his last day at the Hartford Animal Shelter. To think had I found him the next day, my life would be very different.
Macho had a rough start. He came to me with a great deal of anxiety, aggressive toward strangers and especially dogs. Many people suggested I rehome him but I knew he was a good boy...I just needed to learn how to communicate with him!
Behavioral training made a huge impact. He’s a completely different dog now. He does to doggy daycare, is incredibly social and loves belly rubs from everyone we meet! He also loves going to all his favorite eateries in Rhode Island! Thirsty Beaver being his favorite because they smother him with love and make him delicious burgers!
