Piper was brought to the RI SPCA after being surrendered by her family. She showed signs of neglect ,was under weight, shut down and afraid of other dogs. What a difference a year makes! Today she is a happy and healthy 6 year old who loves to play fetch in the yard, carry her stuffed toys around the house and look out the picture window at the ducks in the nearby pond. Her favorite pastime is snacking! She is a true cuddle bug and enjoys lengthy belly rubs. Piper is a great example of why we should adopt, not shop!
