We got Abby recently for my mom as a companion after she had to put her golden retriever of 12 years down this past winter. Abby is a spunky playful kitten and loves to sing and get attention. We did not rescue Abby from a shelter but she was in need of a home and in ours eyes did kind of rescue her from possibly ending up in a shelter.
