Contest Rules
Entry
- Each photo entry requires a minimum $25 donation (must request EIN# for tax deduction). Each entry includes a free calendar.
- You will receive 5 free votes if you pre-order a 2025 calendar DURING the entry process only.
- Multiple entries are encouraged and non-bulldogs are allowed in photos, however one bulldog must be included in the image. Dogs do not have to be a rescue dog.
- There are 24 coveted spots. Only the top 16 with the highest Votes are guaranteed inclusion. The remaining 8 will be chosen by Roadogs Rescue.
- Have fun. Be creative. From artistic portraits to action shots, to holidays like Christmas to Easter.
- No humans, inappropriate, or obscene content allowed in photos.
- PHOTOS MUST BE high resolution and well-lit, or you risk your entry being disqualified. Resolution needs to be 300 dpi or higher at a size of at least 10" x 8".
- All rights to photos will be subject to the contest privacy and usage policies as seen on the privacy policy notification on this site.
- All entries are subject to the approval of the chosen calendar printer for use.
- Photo entries must be the original, copyright-owned work of the entrant.
- Road Dogs is eligible to include our rescues for calendar voting eg Wonk-E or Paloma- but not eligible to win the physical prizes.
- Online submissions only from 12:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Friday, August 1, 2025 to 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, September 5, 2025. Contest ends 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, September 5, 2025.
- Please include a short paragraph on What Happiness means to you personally, or to your dog. Think; funny, inspiring and poignant.
Voting
- Voters are asked to make a donation when voting (min $5)
- $1 = 1 vote.
- For every $25 donated, you will earn 25 votes and one free Bulldog Guide to Happiness Calendar.
- You may use all the votes for one entry or store in an account that you can use during the contest.
- Please pass this along to your family and friends, invite them to vote. Every vote brings us closer to saving more lives!
Cover Winner
The dog with the most votes WINS.
However, a previous winner cannot be the Cover Bull two years in a row. If that happens, the calendar cover goes to the runner-up.
