Why I love to dance
I love to dance because it is my passion. I love the way it makes me feel like I can fly or do anything I want with my body. I was given the opportunity to be the first African American girl at my studio to represent them as a soloist for competitions. I was honored. I just want to be an inspiration to someone as I have been inspired by other excellent dancers. I love to express myself through dance and speak to my audience through movement. When I am on stage dancing it feels like home and there is no other place I would rather be. Dancing is the way I communicate my true self to the world.
