I adopted Larry when he was about 12 weeks old. I was single and living in Chicago, and it was love at first sight! Several years later, then living in Naperville, Larry and I fell in love with my now husband Brian and his beloved pup Emma. Larry and Emma became the BEST of friends! It was an amazing sight to see! A few years later Larry developed aggressive melanoma on his tongue and we lost him 2 short weeks after losing Emma and less than that from being diagnosed. It was the absolute hardest goodbye of my life and I think about and miss him every day. Larry was fortunate enough to receive a care package from LLR, which the receipt of this beautiful gift spurred my volunteering for this AMAZING foundation as much as possible ❤️.
