12 year old senior Vinny came to the Ross county Humane Society in the summer of 2024, he was removed from his home with numerous other animals due to neglect and home conditions. He struggled in the shelter environment. He was not a candidate for shelter life. We started as his foster family, but failed miserably within two months when we realized he was a perfect fit for our home. Even though he was removed from his prior home, it’s clear he hasn’t been abused. It was neglect. His caretaker couldn’t meet his basic needs. He’s such a sweet boy. He is housebroken and loves other dogs and even cats! He’s a sweet and gentle (but sometimes stubborn) senior. We love having him in our family.
