A little about me...
Chuck (formally CK) was picked up on the streets in Tijuana. Rover's Retreat took him in and with a lot of work and dedication he was ready to be adopted! I'd been following his recovery on Jenna's Facebook page and needless to say I couldn't help but fall in love with him. And it was easy to get my boyfriend to fall in love too!! We live in Washington State, so in September of 2016 I got in my car with my mom to make the drive to San Diego! As soon as I saw him our eyes locked and it was over!!! I was so in love! He was very shy and unsure about everything, but he was instantly attached to me. All he cared about was where I was. It's like he knew right away that I was his new Momma. He got to see lots of new things on our drive home. He got to meet his dad when we got home and they bonded quickly. He has come so far in these last 4 years. He is now a hairy ball of fur who loves to go on walks, go into the water (only up to his belly), loves car rides, and loves to lay in the yard and play guard dog. He has brought so much joy to our lives. You would never know he had such a rough life. He is such a lover and a happy boy!! We can't thank Wayne, Jenna and the rest of the Rover's Retreat crew enough for taking a chance on him!
