A little about me...
We adopted this beautiful, charming, sweet, sweet, sugar, mini golden retriever 10 months ago from Rover’s Retreat. Most wonderful rescuer Emel and her team of angels in Turkey, literally saved his life in April of 2019. Emel found him in a shelter there, and immediately took him into her care. He had been horribly neglected and was in very bad health. Through months of rehab and gentle, loving care, Emel worked her magic and Charlie (aka Chico) survived. September of 2019 he made the long 11+ hour journey from Istanbul to a better life here in the USA! His days are now filled with toys, treats, walks, trips to the park where he loves to chase his ball and play with other doggies, naps and endless kisses and snuggles. Thank you Rover’s Retreat. We love Charlie so much!
