Pet's Story or Bio
Most of you know him as Monty Bear. He’s the king of the head tilt, no personal space, snuggles, and ridiculously cute photos.
What you may not know is that this special guy literally keeps me in good health. I never expected to be diagnosed with a rare and incurable neurological disorder in my early 20s, but here we are. Monty surprised us all by naturally reacting to my health episodes, in the exact manner a seizure response service dog takes 2 years and $30K to learn.
Not only is he my best friend, but he’s a part of my heart I didn’t know was missing. He brings such joy and laughter to everyone who sees his photos online and everyone who meets him.
This sweet little dude has changed my entire life. And it wouldn’t have been possible without Royal Animal Refuge and it’s volunteers and donors. Help me honor the precious gift they gave me, by voting for Monty’s photo.
