Pet's Story or Bio
Tessa was abandoned and found dirty with tons of huge ticks all over her body. She was rescued from Royal Animal Refuge and then adopted by my husband and I in July of 2018. As soon as I met her, I knew she was suppose to be part of our family. We adopted her so quickly that no-one knew she was pregnant and that August she had 11 puppies! Thankfully RAR was there to help us with everything while we were also taking care of my aging parents.
Once Tessa became an empty nester, we focused on getting her healthy so she could finally enjoy life to the fullest. An added bonus to her new home is she became best friends with our neighbor's 12 pound dog. They are an odd pair being they are so different in size but they enjoy each other's company and take turns spending time at each other's houses.
Some of Tessa's favorite things in life are...her dad, sunbathing, bully sticks, walks by the lake, drinking goat's milk and chasing chipmunks (poor little creatures).
Tessa is calm, sweet, well mannered and loves all dogs and people. She fits into our lifestyle perfectly and we can't imagine life without her. Thank you RAR for rescuing our girl!
