Bert and Oliver were adopted a little over a year apart from each other. Bert, the Chi mix, was overlooked by potential adopters due to his unique look. Due to a malformed lower jaw, he can't keep his tongue in, so it's always out. It makes for some messy eating, and a lot of dog kisses, something we love in our family! Oliver, our Pittie, was found tied up and abandoned. He had been tied up for so long, the rope had embedded in his skin. He was also very underweight. The shelter surgically removed the rope and a foster family took him and gave him love and aftercare. We adopted him just two weeks later. Bert and Oliver have been best friends from the start (and they both love the sun!). We can't imagine life without either one of them.
