Pet's Story/Bio
Rocky was found in August 2011 wandering the streets of Oakland, CA. He was taken in to the Oakland animal shelter where he sat until November 2011. At that time, a rescue group found him and brought him to Sacramento. On November 19, 2011, Rocky came to live with our family. He weighed only 9 pounds! He was very frightened, especially of loud noises and strangers.
Since he has come to live with our family, Rocky has developed into the perfect family dog. We bring him with us as much as possible and he loves to be anywhere we are! He loves to be picked up and snuggled, he loves to play fetch and chase squirrels! Rocky is the poster dog for how a neglected, malnourished dog can adjust wonderfully to a family pet with just a little bit of love and TLC!!
