Pet's Story/Bio
Maya was dropped off at one week old with her 8 littermates, Mom and Dad at Homeward Bound Golden Retreiver Rescue & Sanctuary in November 2013. An amazing volunteer stepped up & fostered all nine puppies and their Mom (all are healthy & in forever homes). At 8 weeks old I was able to officially adopt Maya and take her with me on a two week business trip to Flordia diving right in to socializing her to new people & environments. She is now 4.5 months old, insanely spoiled and has graduated from basic training. We are working towards a service training certificate (lots of work ahead) so we can volunteer with local hospitals & childrens literacy programs. Luckily she's smart as a whip & even sweeter than she looks so she'll do great!
