Tex was found roaming the streets of Houston, Texas when he was just 3-months old. Picked up and fostered by the rescue Mutts & Meows, little did he know he had a big journey ahead of him.
His soon to be adoptive mom had lost her best friend and was starting the search for a new buddy. She fell in love with his picture (eyebrows and pointy ears to be exact) and on a whim, reached out to ask if they ever sponsored adoptions. Turns out they did! Tex made his way on a transport from Texas to the PNW, over 3,000 miles, and through a blizzard, to get to his new forever home.
And the rest is history. Five-years later, he now spends his days adventuring around the PNW. Camping, hiking, kayaking, running on the beach, and romping in the snow. A Texan turned Oregonian, just like his mom.
