Bacchus belonged to my daughter Trudi, who passed away in May of 2020. At that time I wasn't allowed to have large dogs where I live. Her other owner wasn't either. He ended up at Safe Haven for a short time while I found him a good home. In late October 2023, he was found running loose in Albany and taken to doggy jail. He was still microchiped in my daughters name! I got the call and immediately went to pick him up after he was not claimed. As soon as he saw me he knocked me down and smothered me with kisses! He has helped me so much in my grieving process and is very spoiled! He will be 12 in April.
