Lucky Dog was the epitome of an island potlicker; full of love and wanderlust. I don't know how many owners he'd been through before I adopted him several years ago, but he was happy to have a good home. It took us a year to finally get rid of his mange, but he never let that damper his cheerful, goofy mood. Lucky passed away in March (2015) and there's no doubt that I was the LUCKY one to have him in my life.
