A little about me...
This is Gizmo (formerly “Beowoof”) and I, Bjarna, Salem’s Animal Control Officer. I met Gizmo while working with SARL, and from the moment I saw him, I knew he was meant to be mine. He was this tiny, scruffy ball of sweetness, and my heart just melted. I hadn’t planned on bringing a puppy home, but sometimes, love finds you unexpectedly. Gizmo has brought so much joy, comfort, and laughter into my life. He reminds me every day why the work we do to protect and rescue animals is so important.
I’m incredibly grateful for the joint efforts between the Salem Police Department and SARL. Together, we’ve changed the lives of so many pets.
