Gloria

A little about me...
Gloria, affectionately known as "Glow Worm," was adopted from the Salem Animal Rescue League earlier this summer. We knew her time with us would be short because of her medical conditions, but every day with her was a gift.

Completely deaf, Gloria assumed everyone else was too, and she enthusiastically screamed her hello whenever she spotted her people. She purred nonstop whenever she was in a lap—or simply in the same room with those she loved. Her favorite companion was her toddler bestie, who also adored her and regularly presented Gloria with stuffed animal "offerings." Remarkably, Gloria was the only one in the house who could always count on a kiss or a gentle pat from our daughter without first hearing the classic toddler "no."

Patient, gentle, and endlessly loving, Gloria reminded us that the size of a life isn't measured in time, but in the love it leaves behind.
