Surprise

Surprise was just that...a Surprise! Through SAPA, I was fostering his pregnant mom. She had tiny triplet calico girls and I thought she was finished. To my surprise, a few hours later, she gave birth to an oversized brown tabby little boy. And, he was definitely all boy. His petite sisters were content to play quietly with string and fuzzy balls. Not Surprise--he was the first to hiss, the first to escape from his nursery, and the first to climb curtains or pull himself up the bedspread onto the bed. His spirit stole my heart and I officially adopted Surprise, which was another surprise considering I already had cats at home without any intention on adding to my family. And, what a happy blessing he has been!
