I adopted Paige (formerly Tabitha) in 2020 as a Christmas present for my husband. He lost his beloved pitbull of 13 years a few years prior, and I knew Paige would be the perfect dog for him. I took our dachshund, Prince, with me the day I adopted Paige to make sure they would get along. Prince approached her, tail wagging like crazy, and she gently booped him on the nose. He rolled over on his back and they immediately started playing. It was love at first sight. Paige has such a pleasant disposition and loves every person and animal she meets. I was very nervous to bring home a new dog because we have a flock of chickens that free range in our yard, but Paige is great with them, always positioning herself in the middle of the flock to keep watch.
