Roland was adopted from New Hope Rescue in Austin in 2021! He was very fashionable, dare I say dapper, and loved a good bow tie. Roland's energy was like no other dog. He had the sweetest, gentlest spirit, and when we would go to the dog park, he would always go to the front gate to great the new dogs - especially the small ones! He knew every dog needed a friend. ​He was just such a goober, and we would always call him our silly goose.

Roland sadly passed away at a dog daycare in October 2022. Immediately following his untimely death, we started a 501c3 named, "Roland's Silly Goose Crew" dedicated to honoring the memory of Roland. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to support local animal shelters and rescues, educate the community on dog safety, and advocate for change in the dog boarding and daycare industry.
