Rules

Submit your pet's photo (must be a dog or cat) and include your name, your pet's name, your e-mail address, and include a short paragraph describing your pet, its characteristics, favorite hobbies, or even a funny story.
PETS ONLY – The TOP 12 winners of this contest will be featured in our 2018 Calendar which will go on sale later this year. To ensure the quality of the product and the idea surrounding the campaign, we ask that all entries be of PETS ONLY. Any image with a human in it may be disqualified.
DIGITAL PHOTOS ONLY – No hard copy photos will be accepted. Photos must be in color, clear, of good quality and high resolution, and able to be printed at a size of 8.5" x 11" without significant loss of quality. If your submission is low resolution or poor quality you will be asked for a better quality image. If a quality image is not provided within 1 week prior to calendar printing, the entry may be disqualified. A good rule of thumb is that the photo should be at least 1 mb (96 dpi required, 300 dpi is preferred)
$10 entry fee
$1 per vote, minimum $5 donation (5 votes). When you donate to vote, you will receive a "bank" of votes that then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place some on one photo, some on another, etc.
If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. - On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and Share! Share! Share!
