My fiance and I adopted Ryder 6 months ago. We were looking for a herding dog that was a few years old that needed to be rescued. I saw Ryder formally "Bree" on the shelter's Instagram page and knew we had to go meet her! She was found in a Safeway parking lot in Watsonville :( she was not chipped or fixed. She knew no commands.

We are so lucky to have Ryder in our life now and she loves the Santa Cruz Mountain life! We take her everywhere with us, to the beach, hiking, camping, boating, breweries, and more.

She is so sweet and a perfect addition to our life/adventures. We get lots on compliments on her. Ryder loves giving kisses, getting belly rubs, and herding our 3 chickens in the yard.

We love our little girl so much. We can't imagine life without her now!
