Your Pet's Story or Bio
Cody was adopted when he was about four months old out at a animal shelter in the Livermore area. His mom and him and his siblings were brought into the shelter when they were about three months old. Cody was adopted out right away but brought back a week later after the owner complained that Cody was stealing all the toys from his other puppy and peeing everywhere. His mom and siblings were no longer there when he was returned to the shelter. When we saw him in the kennel, he was sitting quietly alone, clearly traumatized by the large breed of barking dogs all around him that made up about 95% of the shelter. When he was brought out to us, he immediately sat on my lap, peed and looked up at me. Pleading to never return to that space. We knew we found our next family member.
