Otis came to the shelter right around 10 weeks old. This sweet baby boy was shy, fearful and cautious. After a few weeks in a foster home, we met him and instantly fell in love. The competition was high as there were many families interested in him. However, my husband and I have the privilege to work from home. That was key and just what Otie needed in his early years. We were able to take him home at 13 weeks. We immediately enrolled him in dog training/socialization classes. We even had in-home visits. We saw the potential in him as we looked at his kind eyes and we were confident he would blossom into the silly, sweet boy he is today. Through the years, with consistency, love, hard work and dedication, he has blossomed into a brave, beautiful, ball of joy. This extremely food motivated, ocean swimming, ball chasing, toilet paper eating, fur baby is the best addition to our household. He brings so much love to our home and we are just thrilled to be his fur parents. Thank you SCCAS for the best gift our family has ever received.
