Mavis came to the shelter fearful, cowering and snapping.
After months at the shelter, she slowly became more confident and trusting. Two years after becoming my foster failure, she went blind.
After learning the new words "step", "step down", and "watch out!",
she regained yet again a new confidence in the world.
Mavis now continues to be cheerful walker/hiker, expert navigator into sunny spots, and every day she brings heaps of joy to all.
