A little about me...
Formerly feral Roy is a rescued feral cat adopted as a barn cat 10 years ago. He decided to un-feral himself about 2 years ago and is now happily sitting on laps, sometimes next to fellow rescued pet Rickey Ricardog and sleeping on the bed!
Roy recently had a stay at the emergency vets for a bladder blockage and was better behaved than some domestic cats-just “shy”
according to the vets-he’s FERAL and had not been to a vet or even in a pet carrier since he was neutered as a feral kitten!
This formerly feral cat not only keeps rodents out of the hay barn on our horse ranch but has become a very beloved member of our family, bringing joy to us as well as his many fans who love his “Formerly Feral Roy” photos!
As a spokeskitty for humane treatment of feral cats, Roy is an advocate of the Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) method used successfully worldwide for years for compassionate care of feral cats😻
