A little about me...

The moment Bonita and I locked eyes at the Santa Cruz County Animal Services shelter, I knew she was coming home with me. She was just two years old then—tiny at only 5 1/2 pounds but already full of life and spirit. Now, at about twelve years old, she may be tiny in size, but she has a heart and spirit that fill every room she enters. Bonita is obedient, fiercely loyal, and impressively intelligent. Always eager to please, her big personality shines through in everything she does, reminding me every day how powerful and life-changing it is to open your heart to a rescue animal. Adopting Bonita wasn’t just giving her a home; it was gaining an irreplaceable best friend. I’m so grateful to Santa Cruz County Animal Services for the compassionate work they do to help animals like Bonita find their forever families.
