A little about me...
We fostered Pixie and his brother Skittles who were a bonded pair. His brother was adopted and he was left behind. He was adopted a few weeks later and although I was happy for him, by my heart was a bit heavy because we had grown closer. His adopted family returned him and the foster agency asked if we would take him back as a foster (although we were already fostering another bunny). We happily agreed to foster Pixie again. The ordeal had clearly shook him, because he went from being a bit standoffish to gently nuzzling his face into our hand with complete trust as if to say, “please, I’m home,”. He and Twyla our second foster fell in love and are living happily ever after together. His life is full of morning binkies, fresh greens, daily treats, all he can eat hay, bun wife cuddles and endless mutual grooming.
