We adopted Pappy (formerly Pepe) from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter in November 2020. He was listed as 5 years old but he is at once as mature as a 73 year-old and playful as a 2 year-old. We needed a companion who needed us and Pappy is perfect. We don't know how he got the scars he has from his youth anymore than he knows ours. We just know life is great now we're together.
