I adopted Grandpa on my last day of volunteering at the shelter. He was a 16 yr old dog who was surrendered and was in terrible shape, coat matted, diseased teeth , dental abcesses, blind and almost deaf, weak and terrified. A very sad dog.Wanted to give him a good life however long he had.It's been 11months and he's thriving. He runs around the house, has a fabulous appetite and has become a loved part of my dog pack of three.
