Here is my beautiful little Betty who lost her battle with diabetes on December 26th after almost five years of struggling with the disease. The veterinarians and staff at the Clare Eddy Thaw Animal Hospital took incredible care of her throughout the years and came to love her almost as much as I do. I adopted her from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter in January 2013. She had been at the animal shelter for months because nobody wanted her. She was strong-willed and voiced that in bark and action. In spite of that, she was the most lovable and best little dog I ever had.
