The most precious thing I’ve ever found on Overstock.com is my little Belle. Logged on to look for a table, I saw the “Pet Adoptions” link. I had no intention of adopting a pet, but I was curious.

I clicked through to the “Dogs” section. There was “Pickles,” a tiny terrier, Parvo survivor, fur sparse from mange. I fell in love. I called SAPA, and was crestfallen to learn that she had been spoken for.

A few days later, SAPA called back. The other person had changed her mind – was I still interested? My first thought on meeting her was, “Though she be but little, she is fierce.” Of course, I took her home.

Now Belle (“Pickles” just didn’t suit her personality) comes to work with me every day, and is beloved by the entire TPR team. She’s a great role model – 10 pounds of pure joy, 24/7!
