Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Willie from Save a Pet in Forsyth, GA shortly after I lost my best friend of many years, Charlie, to cancer. I’m an Army veteran who likes to be outdoors as much as I can. So Willie has been a ray of sunshine at a time when I needed him the most. He’s got tons of energy so we go running every day. He loves riding in my Jeep with the top off. He sings along with the tunes that we jam out to. He seems to be a fan of Tyler Childers music. He’s all about trails and adventures, so we have a blast together. He loves talking to all the other animals he sees on our runs, whether it’s ducks, squirrels or an occasional deer, Willie like to say “sup?” to them. He’s just a puppy now, but he’s super smart. He’ll be going to training soon, so he’ll be able to do all sorts of cool stuff, like hopefully grabbing me a crispy boi from the fridge. Willie is the Goodest boy with a heart of gold and I know he’ll be thrilled if he wins this contest!
