Pet's Story or Bio
Connor Fitzpatrick was rescued along with his sister, Cleo Brigid, from a trip to doggie jail when his previous owner flunked out of college and his parents wouldn't allow Connor and Cleo to come home with him. He has always been the attentive step-brother to Bonny who is queen of our pack. This Scottie is loving and gentle and now in his later years, even though he has lost his sight, remains a trusted and cherished companion. He and his sisters keep a diligent watch from atop their sofa on the back porch for anything amiss and are always ready to give out an energetic shout of alert. For many years, Connor has been the sentinel at the base of the oak tree in the yard that is the foundation of our squirrel highway. He still gazes up the trunk of the tree in great anticipation of slightest slip of foot by any unsuspecting squirrel but alas, to date, to no avail. Connor remains on watch, ears erect and tail always wagging. Please vote for Connor. He is a shining example of a loving rescued pet.
